A healthy fruit smoothie with royal jelly

Ok, just a little fun here, but many people email us and ask for recipes using bee products and royal jelly. Well, at home I use a fruit smoothie mix and add a teaspoon of fresh royal jelly before blending. You can also make the same recipe with fresh fruits!

Just use around a cup and a half of whatever fruit you have at home, even if it's starting to turn a little. Banana's are great as are any type of berries. Wash the fruit and put straight into the blender with a tablespoon of cream or half and half. Then add a teaspoon of fresh royal jelly and blend!

This is a great way to get the benefits of your favorite bee products without any fuss. You can certainly use honey in this recipe and even bee pollen. Though you might want to use a mortice and pestle to crush the pollen granules down to a finer powder.
