I have seasonal allergies, so I went to the local natural health store to inquire about some helpful products. They suggested eating raw local honey in addition to using a neti pot. GODSEND.
Beeswax is also a common ingredient in a lot of natural skincare products.
Bee pollen is the food of the Gods. I can’t put it any better than that. Bee pollen really works for energy and for weight loss. It contains something called rutin, which is good for losing weight.

I remember growing up in Montana and my father taking me to see beekeepers as a young girl. The honey tasted so rich and sweet, fresh and warm from the hive. I seem to have been around bees and honey all my life, fond memories!

I remember first reading the Burt’s story, how they started out making candles in a shed. It’s crazy to think that there little empire would be worth so many millions. I hope they’re still true to the cause.
I have also heard that consuming local honey reduces seasonal allergy symptoms. I think it worked! And it was pretty tasty too!
I love all the Burt’s Bee products especially the lip balm. I use it on everything including fever blisters. I haven’t used the bee pollen yet, but I am planning on buying some soon.

I’ve actually never tried Burt’s Bees products. I know, crazy, right?! But I think if I did try them the Naturally Nourishing lotion would be my favorite.
I love good lotions, and I imagine really enjoying the smell of the milk and honey. Natural is my cup of tea too. Not really sure why I haven’t tried Burt’s Bees yet…

I have yet to try the Bee Pollen or Royal Jelly, but this contest is coming at an interesting time. I am (Cough!, Gak!) “going through the change.” The symptoms, from hot flashes to dry skin, are extremely difficult, and I will not be doing artificial therapies. What I am hearing repeatedly is to increase nutrition, and Bee products are mentioned in the top few suggestions over and again. I’d love to add these to my daily life.
As the 70 year old brand new grandmother of my very first grandchild, I know how important your Baby Bee products are for the child’s best skin care. On the other hand, I know full well the advantageous benefits of your other products, including Royal Jelly, are for the, ummm, shall we say “aging skin”? (Did I really say that?!)
As a person who spends most of the day working as a farm hand, I rely on Burt’s hand salve to stop my skin from blistering. I actually use it on my face too, keeps my skin from drying out.
I’ve been using your royal jelly face creme for 2 years, not the Burt’s Bees stuff but The Natural Shopper brand. I’ve tried Burts and Jaffra but yours is the best for keeping me wrinkle free…thanks!

I have not used any of Burt’s Bees products but have heard great things about them. I have dry skin and use lip balm daily so I would love to try these products, especially with winter coming up.

As a child, my dad would make us eat a spoonful of Bee Pollen every day. I liked the taste, a little dry and hard to get down, but not bad. The reasoning behind it was that if taken daily, you won’t have allergies to pollens. I strongly believe it works and have never had seasonal allergies.

I havent tried any of the Burts Bees products but have heard really great things about them ! I recently ordered some items from their website but Fedex crushed the box and all I was left with was a nasty mess. I contacted them via their website and never received any response. I still am anxious to try their products , even if I had such a bad experience with their website.

I have heard great things about Burts Bees lipbalms, though I have never personally used them. I have made lipbalms with honey and they are just fantastic!! I love anything with natural honey in it and we have considered becoming bee farmers in the future. Would love to try these products so I can promote more honey and bee products!

I absolutely love the Burt’s Bees products. The only lip balm I use is Burt’s Bees original because it’s incredibly soothing and yet very light so I don’t feel like there is really thick wax all over my face. And I’ve never used a facial cleanser quite like the chamomile and soap bark cleansing creme. I put it on and it feels like my skin is actually respirating, it’s so refreshing.
We give so much of ourselves everyday and Burt’s Bees gives us back what we need and then some the way it was intended, through nature!

My daughter-in-law introduced me with a stocking stuffer of Bert’s Bees products. What a doll!! I had never used any of their products before, so this was a revelation. Each item was a delight to use, but the winner for me was the Lip Shimmer! Made a user out of me. NOTHING can match how good this product is, even coming in different shades. Have used other stuff when I ran out, but nothing can beat Burt’s Bees Lip Shimmer, it is the BEST!!

I have been using Burt Bee’s products for years and my skin is so soft from using the Deep Cleansing Cream. I love all of the products. More recently my husband and I started using a supplement that includes Bee Pollen, Propolis, Royal Jelly, Raw Honey. We have only been using it for a little over 2 months but we are feeling more energy and seems to work much better then any of the other types of supplements we have taken. We both are already Big fans and plan to continue using Bee products!
I love your lip balm and have some in just about every room in my house. Where I work makes your lips dry out so I carry it with me all of the time.

My husband and I have been using Total Bee Plus for a couple of years now and we are very happy with the results. I ususally got Bronchitis every spring and fall…have not had it this past year at all…and Roy has not had his normal colds either….we both know it has to be the bee plus…we have not changed anything else. The only Burt’s Bees product I’ve tried is their original lip balm, but once I started using it, I was hooked. The minty flavor, the cooling sensation; my lips won’t put up with anything else!
Having eaten honey straight from the hive — breaking off a piece of freshly capped comb honey, brushing the bees away and popping it in your mouth — I concluded that it’s the most delicious thing I’ve ever tasted!
My chewing gum is raw propolis, the soft and sticky or hard and brittle, depending on the temperature, slightly spicy “bee glue” collected from plant and tree resins, and carefully used to fill in anything smaller than a bee space, while sterilizing their hives in the process.
Pollen, collected by hundreds of workers and stored in the perfectly constructed wax cells in the form of “bee bread”, is the protein for every new generation of bees. Whenever I find cells of pollen in burr comb, I like to scrape it off and eat it, still in the comb.
Once, I even sampled fresh royal jelly from swarm cells — something that I’m in no rush to try again. Our local bee inspector likened the taste to battery acid; but having never had the misfortune of tasting battery acid, I can’t comment. (Incidentally, honeybee venom doesn’t taste very pleasant either!) In any case, the only way I’ve enjoyed royal jelly is in the form of the Total Bee Plus capsules.
These four ingredients in Total Bee Plus combine for a healthy boost of energy, something many of us could use in our hurried lives… I like to pop a couple capsules whenever I feel in need of a little extra energy, especially during the winter months.

I’ve been using Total Bee Plus for almost five years. On the few occasions that I stopped using it for a few weeks or months, it became readily apparent that something was missing from my health routine. Total Bee Plus improves everything, from general feelings of wellness to skin tone and the restfulness of sleep. It’s an amazing product.
I’ve been using The Natural Shopper Total Bee Plus for several years. Never had allergies until I experienced NCarolina’s “pine dust”. Ugh! I take a couple of these at first and then 1 a day and NO problems. When I work in the garden and have stirred up the “pine dust” that settled into the yard, I take a couple and quickly eliminated any itchy eyes, stuffy nose or scratchy throat. I’ve told several people of this product and they love it too.

As a long time user of Royal Jelly, I am a believer that it prevents colds and flu, while keeping me an healthy and energentic worker bee.
I’ve been using bee propolis for 10 years. I had chronic pain for many years and it was an effective and safe anti-inflammatory. I found it to be more effective than pharmaceutical pain killers. It also works as an antibiotic, antiviral and antifungal. If you’ve got a cold, it will lessen the symptoms greatly and shortens the lifespan of the virus. If you’ve got a bacterial or fungal infection, it is very helpful when using it in the early stages of infection. When I keep a chunk of propolis resin in my refrigerator, it keeps the my food from spoiling quickly. I hear that in Brazil, everyone keeps propolis in their medicine cabinet. I use it in the form of a tincture, so I’m not sure how effective the pills are. But if others say pills work well, I trust their testimony.
I been taking Bee Propolis for quite sometimes now, and I can feel now the improvement on my wellbeing, I feel better, function better, my skin improves a lot it’s amazing. If people only knew the miraculous properties of Bee Propolis EVERYONE would have it in there medicine cabinet. My personal experience is that Poropolis is more effective than any antibiotic given to me by my physician. A couple of examples… my dentist replaced an old filling and told me that I might need a root canal. The tooth was fine for awhile and then started to throb. My dentist suspected that there was infection. He prescribed a root canal, I instead took Bee Propolis for the infection. Within a few hours no throbbing, within a week no infection, and no root canal…. that was over five years ago! By the same token if I take by BP at the onset of a cold/flu I always recover in 24 hours. LOVE IT!
My experience with regards to royal jelly, bee pollen, and propolis began earlier this year. I travelled to Sunset Beach, California, January 2011 and joined the Orange County Bee Keepers Association. I attended monthly meetings at the Orange County Fairgrounds meeting hall to learn how I might effectively support an evolving scientific study relating to colony collapse disorder. The scientific study was envisioned and developed by a friend who asked me to participate in the editing phase for producing a publication paper through the Public Library of Science, PLoS ONE – a peer-reviewed based organization that reports of well-performed scientific studies. During the learning curve part of this effort I realized the values associated with royal jelly, bee pollen, and propolis for the benefit of not only the honey bees but also for people worldwide. Royal jelly sustains bee larvae life during the early stages of their development and queen bee larvae in all stages of their development. I realized the importance that managed honey bees provide for sustaining many food types and proceeded to assist in editing the paper for publication. The paper provides researchers a Micro-CT Imaging tool allowing visualization to assist research efforts toward resolving issues associated with colony collapse disorder. X-rays of bees are available through links within the published paper as posted by PLoS ONE. The papers title is Micro-CT Imaging of Denatured Chitin by Silver to Explore Honey Bee and Insect Pathologies. My learning experience with regards toward royal jelly, bee pollen, propolis and bees in general has opened new paths for researchers to explore ways in understanding how people may help bees and pollinators regain losses associated with colony collapse disorder.
